Spotlight on Swatpro training providers: Quest Vocational Training
Head towards the South Coast and just before you hit Bournemouth you’ll arrive at Ferndown, a bustling town that is home for one of Swatpro’s busiest training providers.
Quest Vocational Training has been delivering Apprenticeships in the Health & Social Care, and Childcare sectors since 2012, growing to a busy enterprise employing around 50 people.
Although the firm is quite young, it has oodles of experience on its books with staff having provided training in this sector for more than 30 years in some cases.
Much of its work is based at its HQ in Ferndown, but it also works on site with clients across the south of England.
Marketing manager Kelly Payne says the secret of the company’s success has been to develop training via a three- pronged approach, with input from Quest, the employer and the learner.
“We are passionate about what we do and we want to make a difference,” she explains.
“As a training provider we strive to be reliable, flexible, approachable and honest!
“We have recently made a huge investment in recruitment, equipment and resources – this is part of our ongoing commitment to our staff, apprentices and employers.”
It’s an approach that has clearly paid dividends, as customer feedback shows.
One employer wrote: “I thoroughly recommend Quest Vocational Training to any organisation working in the Health and Social Care Sector.
“They have been excellent in delivering our valued staff members Diploma qualifications for many years now. I have been particularly impressed with the bespoke individual support given to my staff.

Kelly says such feedback says it all: “We pride ourselves on our close working relationships with employers and value their contribution.”
And trainee feedback is just as valued, with Quest’s assessors ensuring the training is tailored to meet the individual needs of each Apprentice.
The company celebrates its best learners over the course of a year, recognising their commitment and dedication by nominating those who have overcome difficulties and have gone the extra mile for their bi-annual Quest Champion Awards.
