Celebrating World Youth Skills Day with Our Engineering Apprentices

Apprenticeships play a vital role in achieving these goals. By combining practical, hands-on experience with structured learning and nationally recognised qualifications, apprenticeships give young people the opportunity to build confidence, develop technical expertise and prepare for successful careers.

It was therefore particularly fitting to celebrate our Engineering apprentices on this important day.

Joined by partners, parents, guardians and employers, the event was a fantastic occasion and a real celebration of the apprentices’ hard work, commitment and progress.

A huge well done to all our apprentices. We are incredibly proud of everything you have achieved throughout your apprenticeship journey and look forward to seeing you continue to develop your skills and careers.

A special thank you must also go to our fantastic Engineering team, pictured here, for their continued dedication, expertise and support. Their commitment makes a significant difference to the experience and success of our apprentices.

We would also like to thank our employers for the invaluable role they play throughout the apprenticeship journey. We are incredibly fortunate to work alongside organisations that are committed to supporting apprentices and developing the next generation of engineers.

Finally, thank you to the employers who generously sponsored the event and helped to make the celebration possible.

World Youth Skills Day is an important reminder of the value of investing in young people, practical skills and high-quality training. Our certificate presentation was a wonderful opportunity to see that investment in action and to celebrate the achievements of everyone involved.
