During a recent visit to our Engineering Training Centre, Logan was showcasing the skills and knowledge he has developed throughout his apprenticeship. He has been producing steel components, practising his CNC machining skills and creating enclosures for measuring equipment.
Logan also has a keen interest in 3D printing. After completing a component in steel, he recreates it using the 3D printer, combining traditional engineering techniques with modern technology. He has even used his skills to produce a very practical bagel cutter!
His tutors have praised his enthusiasm, creativity and commitment to developing his skills, describing him as a real shining star.
It was fantastic to see Logan applying his learning in practice and demonstrating such a strong combination of technical ability, curiosity and innovation.
A very well-deserved congratulations to Logan. Keep up the excellent work!

World Youth Skills Day is an international day recognised by the United Nations, celebrating the importance of helping young people develop the skills they need for employment, lifelong learning and future careers.

It was time for the ECITB Scholars Graduation last week, joined by a whole host of guests, friends, and family to celebrate the amazing achievements of our 8 scholars.
