Whether you are travelling to work, attending training, meeting friends or spending time online, it is important to know how to keep yourself and others safe. Devon, Dorset and Somerset are generally safe places to live, work and study. However, every community has risks, and these can vary between busy towns, cities, rural communities and coastal areas. Being aware of your surroundings—and knowing where to find help—can make a real difference.
