Inclusive learning is not just about meeting requirements. It is about making sure every learner has the right environment, encouragement and support to succeed.
Everyone learns differently. Some learners may need extra help with confidence, communication, organisation, wellbeing, English, maths, digital skills or understanding information in a different way. By recognising these needs early, tutors and support teams can work together to provide more personalised support.
This means we can move away from a “one size fits all” approach and make learning more accessible, meaningful and achievable for everyone.
How can this help you?
Inclusion Champions help by encouraging conversations, sharing resources and supporting tutors to think about what learners may need to thrive. Their role is to help make sure inclusion is part of everyday learning, not something separate.
What does CHAMP stand for?
C – Connect with others to encourage inclusive thinking
H – Help raise awareness of different learner needs
A – Assist in finding and sharing helpful resources
M – Make note of learner behaviours that may benefit from extra support
P – Participate in learning opportunities to keep developing inclusive practice.
If you feel you need additional support, or you are finding something difficult in your learning journey, please speak to your tutor. They can talk through what support may be available and help you take the next step.
Want to discuss this more – speak to your tutor or info@swatpro.org.uk

AI & Automation in Everyday work: What’s actually being used by organisations today?
Introduction: AI is here 🤖 For many of us, Artificial Intelligence (AI) is still a futuristic concept isolated to the realms of scientific fiction, but the truth is that AI is now an everyday reality. AI is already imbedded in both our personal and professional lives. It is being used to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and reduce the time people spend on repetitive tasks across a wide range of industries. According to recent research, around 78% of organisations now use AI in at least one business function (source), whilst at around 60% of companies are using at least one automation tool within their everyday operations (source). What’s more, these percentages are rising every day. This should be unsurprising given that some data suggests that 94% of workers are still performing repetitive tasks that could either be shortened with AI or be completely automated (source). Science fiction often presents AI as a system that takes over human jobs, but the operational reality is different. AI and automation are not replacing work; they are transforming HOW work gets done by freeing up workers from repetitive tasks and allowing them to focus on what’s important. Let’s explore how some examples of how AI and automation is being used today.
