Why Generic PR Training Doesn't Work for Domestic Abuse and Sexual Violence Organisations
Most PR and communications training is built for people selling products, managing brand perception, or running campaigns for organisations where the worst-case scenario is a bad quarter. None of that maps cleanly onto domestic abuse and sexual violence services, and treating comms in this sector as a smaller, charitable version of corporate PR misses almost everything that actually matters about the job.
