Rod Davis is the CEO of Swatpro, responsible for the strategic direction of the business.

Pilar Diaz-Caneja is the Director of MIS, and responsible for making sure that we meet the relevant funding guidelines.

Dee Vickers

Dee Vickers is our Head of Quality & Performance, with responsibiity for all the Swatpro Academies.

With an BA(Hons) in Education, and as an openly transgender person, Dee strongly believes that everyone should be supported to achieve within a safe learning environment.

Kathy Harrison-Ford

Kathy Harrison-Ford is our Safeguarding Lead, providing help and support for us and our partners on all matters relating to British Values, Prevent, Safeguarding, health and wellbeing.

Sarah Gibbs

Sarah Gibbs is our Operations Director, with responsibility for overseeing our Apprenticeship Academy and Designated Safeguarding Lead

Martin Wear

Martin has been shaping the future of engineering apprenticeships since 2019, bringing energy and expertise to BEMA and Swatpro’s academy. As Engineering Centre Manager, they keep things running smoothly, build great industry connections, and help learners gain the skills they need to thrive. Passionate about innovation, growth, and making a difference.

Chris Corrie, health & social care manager.

Chris Corrie is the Health & Social Care Manager, based at the Taunton office, at Hestercombe Gardens.

Pat O'Brien

Meet Pat, a dedicated Engineering Tutor guiding apprentices toward excellence. With BEMA and Swatpro since April 2023, Pat brings industry expertise and a passion for hands-on learning. Committed to shaping the next generation of engineers, Pat ensures learners gain the skills, confidence, and knowledge needed to thrive in their careers.

Richard Jones

Richard is a dedicated Machinist and Fitting Instructor Assessor for Engineering apprenticeship training. Since joining BEMA and Swatpro in July 2024, he has been committed to shaping future engineers, sharing his industry expertise, and ensuring apprentices gain hands-on skills that align with employer expectations and industry standards.

Steve Beck

Steve has been a dedicated Work-Based Assessor for Engineering apprenticeships with BEMA and Swatpro since March 2019. He supports learners in mastering industry skills, ensuring they meet high standards. With a wealth of experience, Steve is committed to guiding apprentices toward success, shaping the next generation of skilled engineers.

Dave Stretton

Dave has been shaping the future of engineering apprentices since 2018 with BEMA and Swatpro. As a skilled Machinist and Fitting Instructor/Assessor, he brings hands-on expertise, ensuring learners develop precision, problem-solving, and industry-ready skills. His passion for training fosters confidence, competence, and career success in the next generation of engineers.

Andy Dunster

Andy, Lead Workshop Instructor & Assessor for Engineering Apprenticeships, has been shaping future engineers with BEMA and Swatpro since April 2018. With hands-on expertise and a passion for training, Andy ensures apprentices gain real-world skills, guiding them toward industry success through practical learning and professional assessments. Dedicated to excellence in engineering education.

Daryl Winkworth

Meet Daryl, a dedicated Machinist and Fitting Instructor at BEMA and Swatpro since October 2023. Passionate about engineering apprenticeship training, Daryl combines hands-on expertise with structured assessment to equip future engineers with essential skills. With a commitment to precision and mentorship, he plays a key role in shaping the next generation of professionals.

Jamie Crumpton

Jamie has been guiding apprentices in machining and CNC engineering since October 2024 with BEMA and Swatpro. As a dedicated tutor, Jamie combines technical expertise with hands-on training, ensuring learners gain precision skills and industry knowledge. Passionate about shaping future engineers, Jamie empowers apprentices to excel in modern manufacturing.

The Business & Management Team

Amy Fenegan

Amy Fenegan looks after the business skills apprenticeships. Amy also supports the learners that she works with, with their functional skills English.

Amy also carries out IQA work within the Academies too.

Adele Brayley-Duncan

Adele Brayley-Duncan is our Performance Manager.

Stacy Harrall-Phillips

Stacy Harrall-Phillips also looks after the business skills, and customer service apprenticeships, working alongside Amy.

The Functional Skills Team

Luke Bishop

Luke Bishop is one of our functional skills maths tutors, based at Taunton.

He's mad keen on sport and plays at a national level.

Hospitality & Catering

Jen Scott

Jen Scott is our Hospitality and Catering tutor, who also supports apprentices to achieve their Functional Skills.

The Health & Social Care Team

Anne Lee, health & social care tutor.

Anne Lee is one of our health and social care tutors, covering Level 2 to Level 5 qualifications.

Rachel

Rachel Chalker works behind the scenes, ensuring that information is entered into the system correctly. Quite frankly, she is amazing at supporting the tutors and employers, providing an efficient and effective service to all.

Elly Kidd works with Rachel, ever present in the background as an important link between the tutors and the management information system.
